Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich | Space seeks a Flight Software Systems Engineer for Space Missions to own and develop embedded flight software across mission concepts, architectures and interfaces. You will work with systems engineering, avionics, payloads, and mission operations to deliver end‑to‑end software solutions.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 5+ years in flight or embedded software, with strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and a track record in architecture and verification.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in flight or embedded software systems.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++ for embedded targets.
• Experience with real‑time operating systems and software architecture definition.

Aufgaben

• Take technical ownership of flight software developments across systems engineering domains.
• Translate mission concepts into software architectures and interfaces.
• Develop embedded flight software in C/C++ and supporting scripts.
• Integrate software with avionics, payloads, and ground systems; perform tests and verification.
