Thales Alenia Space in Switzerland (Zurich) is seeking a Senior Embedded Software and Processing Engineer to lead embedded processing solution definition for space products and related test equipment.

You will work with system architects and electronics engineers to craft robust architectures using microcontrollers, FPGAs and DSPs, while serving as the technical focal point for embedded software throughout development and verification.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, IT or Computer Engineering.
• Proven experience developing embedded software with hardware development teams.
• Experience with embedded processing technologies (microcontrollers, FPGAs, DSPs).

Aufgaben

• Lead the definition and dimensioning of embedded processing solutions for advanced space products and test equipment.
• Collaborate with system architects and electronics engineers to develop robust processing architectures.
• Act as the technical focal point for embedded software, supporting specification, development and verification activities.
• Coordinate software development work packages delivered by external partners, ensuring quality and alignment.
• Support integration, commissioning, testing and development of automated verification strategies for embedded systems.
