Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a skilled Windows desktop developer to design, build, and maintain applications for a VPN product. You will work on the full lifecycle, including CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring, and collaborate with product managers and engineers across the company.

The role emphasizes MVVM, WPF/WinUI, XAML, and integration of Rust libraries, with a focus on robust, well-tested code and strong networking fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in C# and .NET development.
• Experience building Windows desktop apps using WinUI, WPF, or similar.
• Strong understanding of MVVM, DI, and async/await.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-tested, scalable code.
• Familiar with networking basics.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD (GitLab).

Job description

You will design, build and maintain Windows desktop applications for a VPN product, covering the full lifecycle from feature design to deployment and operational monitoring.

Your tasks

• Design, build, maintain, and evolve applications on Windows
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle including CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers across the company
• Define, maintain, and improve the automated testing stack
• Respond to operational incidents
• Integrate cross-platform logical core libraries written in Rust

What you bring

• Strong experience in C# and .NET development
• Strong experience building Windows desktop applications with WinUI, WPF, or similar
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, dependency injection, and async/await programming
• Proven ability to write maintainable, well-tested, scalable codebases
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
• Rust experience is a plus but not required
