Job summary

Try&Hire in the Zürich area seeks a senior software engineer to design, implement, and maintain software for automated lab reactor systems, integrating hardware and software across the product portfolio.

You will work in a hybrid setup with 100% workload, collaborate with distributed teams, mentor peers, and help raise engineering standards while delivering robust solutions in an agile environment. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• C# / .NET expertise.
• Experience with hardware- or embedded-system-integrated software.
• Broad experience across platform software, web development, and desktop Windows apps.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps including backlog, build and deployment pipelines.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
• Fluent in English (oral and written); German language skills are a plus.

What you bring

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep experience with C# / .NET
• Experience with hardware- or embedded-system-integrated software and communication protocols
• Breadth across platform software, web development, and desktop Windows applications
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps including backlog, build and deployment pipelines
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards
• Fluent in English (oral and written); German language skills are a plus
