Job summary

Lonza Visp (Switzerland) seeks a Technology Transfer Lead to drive technical transfers and oversee the scale-up of drug product manufacturing processes at GMP DP sites. You will manage cross-functional transfer programs from clinical development to first commercial launch, ensuring regulatory compliance and on-site execution.

The role requires a PhD or MSc/BSc with equivalent pharma experience, strong project management, and expertise in aseptic production and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• PhD or Bachelor/Master with equivalent experience in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
• Extensive experience in biotech/pharma industry.
• Knowledge of technical issues and requirements for drug product technical transfers.
• Aseptic product manufacture knowledge desirable, incl. lyophilization and prefilled syringes.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong planning, organizing, and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer activities for sterile GMP DP manufacturing setup and implementation.
• Manage technical transfer activities from clinical development to first commercial launch.
• Define/scoped project timelines and track progress.
• Lead scale-up and on-site support for drug product manufacturing processes at GMP DP sites.
• Oversee transfer documentation and process implementation.
• Drive GMP change management and change control processes.
• Lead CAPAs for deviations and ensure corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, HSE, and regulatory standards.
• Foster innovation, contribute to IP generation, and evaluate new methods/technologies.
