Zusammenfassung

Lonza Visp is seeking a Production Scheduler to proactively maintain and improve the short-term production schedule on site. This fully site-based role requires close collaboration with manufacturing, QA, and materials teams to drive timely execution of plans.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with extensive SCM experience.
• Solid knowledge of APICS CPIM standards is advantageous.
• Strong SAP expertise in planning, scheduling, and materials management.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and communicate clearly.

Aufgaben

• Create, supervise and maintain short-term schedules to drive execution of plans.
• Incorporate input from departments to ensure realistic schedules within constraints.
• Drive optimization by balancing demand with production sequencing and resources.
• Incorporate changes to schedules and ensure timely updates.
• Maintain planning parameters to enable optimal use of scheduling tools.
• Generate metrics to identify trends and root causes of performance issues.
• Provide accurate production schedules and data for the MRP process.
• Review work orders and staffing to determine materials requirements and priorities.
• Monitor production data and materials usage for continuous improvement.
