Novartis Pharma AG seeks an Executive Clinical Program Leader - Translational Clinical Oncology to oversee early oncology programs from a translational perspective. This onsite role in Cambridge leads strategy, governance, and external collaborations, guiding trials and publications.

The candidate will bring MD (MD/PhD preferred), hematology-oncology board certification, and 7+ years of global program leadership experience, with a strong record in translational research and leadership

Qualifikationen

• MD required; MD/PhD preferred.
• Board certification in Hematology-Oncology.
• 7+ years leading global early-phase hematology-oncology programs.
• Translational hematology/oncology and clinical research experience.
• Publications and professional contributions demonstrate expertise.
• Broad knowledge of oncology drug development and trial execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Leadership and people management experience.
• High ethical standards and commitment to patients.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic medical and scientific leadership across early oncology development programs.
• Represent Translational Clinical Oncology at governance and leadership boards.
• Lead clinical strategy development and input for studies and preclinical projects.
• Review study documents including protocols and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute scientific/clinical expertise to business development and portfolio reviews.
• Lead external collaborations and strategic partnerships.
• Mentor colleagues and act as a resource across BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH.
• Ensure ethical, compliant conduct of trials per GCP and company procedures.
• Engage with external experts and health authorities to support early development.
• Contribute to publications, abstracts, and presentations.
