Job summary

KPMG Switzerland, based in Zurich, seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager to join Transaction Services. You will collaborate with Deal Advisory to deliver strategic insights, organise and execute due diligence, and present analyses to clients.

The role emphasizes client engagement, stakeholder management, and mentoring junior team members. Successful candidates typically hold a master’s degree in business or economics, with 3–5 years in transaction services, and may have ACCA/CPA qualifications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration or economics (Finance & Accounting preferred).
• 3–5 years in transaction services; M&A, advisory, audit or controlling experience with Big4 exposure is a plus.
• Analytical thinker with ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Rapid learner who translates insights into action.
• Strong people management and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Deal Advisory and other teams to deliver insights for investment/divestment decisions.
• Organise sell-side and buy-side due diligence for international and Swiss clients.
• Compile and analyse target company data on EBITDA, working capital and cash flows; identify value drivers.
• Present quantitative analysis with qualitative commentary in client reports.
• Engage with clients to understand and interpret their needs.
