Job summary

KPMG Zurich is seeking a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager in Deal Advisory – Tech CoE to lead technology M&A workstreams across due diligence, integration and separation. You will translate complex technology topics into business value, assess risks and opportunities, and drive Day 1 readiness and TSA planning with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree as listed in the qualifications.
• Three to five years of experience in Technology M&A, technology strategy, IT due diligence, integration, separation or related advisory services.
• Proven experience managing workstreams, engaging senior stakeholders and delivering technology due diligence/integration projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to link technology topics to business outcomes.
• Confident project management and communication with senior stakeholders; coaching juniors.
• Advanced German and English; French or Italian is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology M&A workstreams across due diligence, integration and separation projects.
• Assess technology capabilities, operating models, apps, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and IT costs for risks and value.
• Develop and quality-review technology due diligence reports with key risks, value drivers and implications.
• Translate technology findings into strategic and financial business implications.
• Support design and execution of tech integration and separation strategies including Day 1 readiness and TSA planning.
• Coordinate client and cross-functional teams, manage deliverables and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Coach junior colleagues and contribute to proposals and growth of the technology M&A offering.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, client presentations and thought leadership.
