KPMG in Zurich is seeking a driven Deal Advisory professional to deliver critical insights for strategic investment and divestment decisions. You will collaborate with deal teams to support sell-side and buy-side due diligence for international and Swiss clients, and present quantitative analysis with qualitative commentary in client reports.

You will compile and analyze target company data, assess metrics like EBITDA and net working capital, and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with a specialization in Finance and Accounting.
• Initial experience in financial accounting, M&A, audit, controlling, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong accounting knowledge with an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
• Proactive and eager to take on responsibility, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in German and English; any other language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with your Deal Advisory colleagues and other teams to deliver critical insights for strategic investment/divestment decisions to our clients
• Support on executing sell-side and buy-side due diligence and vendor assistance projects for international and Swiss clients
• Compile and analyze target company data to assess key deal metrics such as sustainable EBITDA, net working capital and future cash flows, identify key value drivers, and leverage the data analytics tools of our Deal Tech team
• Present quantitative analysis in a concise manner, accompanied by qualitative commentary in a polished client report
• Take on responsibility in a challenging environment and interact with different internal and external stakeholders, such as external lawyers and representatives of investment banks
