EY’s Transactions Corporate Finance (TCF) team in Zurich seeks an M&A (Senior) Consultant to join a leading mid‑market advisory group in Switzerland and beyond. You will work on sell‑side and buy‑side transactions across financial services, gaining hands‑on experience across the deal lifecycle with clients and stakeholders.

You’ll prepare deliverables, build financial models and lead due diligence, while coordinating cross‑functional teams and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Deal Advisory or Private Equity.
• Experience in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and stakeholder management.
• Ability to engage in client and buyer communications and manage multiple transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal English and German; French is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review transaction deliverables such as memoranda, teasers, process materials and client presentations.
• Perform financial models and valuations using market multiples, precedent transactions and DCF analyses.
• Support and execute M&A transactions from origination through closing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct industry and company analyses to support decision-making and transaction execution.
• Develop target identification and screening analyses, including long and short lists.
• Coordinate due diligence and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Manage multiple projects with high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines.
• Support business development through pitch preparation and proposals.
