Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx AG in Zürich seeks a highly experienced Test Manager to drive testing activities across a complex mainframe-to-Java/SQL migration in a challenging, multi-stakeholder environment.

You will own the test strategy, establish a comprehensive testing framework including unit and functional testing, coordinate end-to-end test execution, mentor a small test team, and report on quality metrics and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Test Management within complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies with emphasis on unit and functional testing.
• Proven experience in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.

This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced Test Manager who enjoys working in complex environments, coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving testing activities from strategy through execution.

• Define and own the overall test strategy and test concept for a complex mainframe-to-Java/SQL migration
• Establish the appropriate testing framework covering unit, functional and comparison testing, including suitable test management tools such as Xray
• Coordinate end-to-end test execution, from planning and environment setup through execution, defect management and reporting
• Work closely with architects, developers, project management and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and quality standards
• Lead and mentor a small test team, supporting resource planning and team development as the project evolves
• Monitor testing progress, defects and quality metrics while identifying opportunities to continuously improve testing processes
• Produce comprehensive test plans, test cases, reports and management updates

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Test Management within complex projects
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, particularly unit and functional testing
• Proven experience working in Agile environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
