Zusammenfassung

LHH partners with a Zurich-based organization to hire a Senior Test Manager (m/f/d) for a large Mainframe-to-Linux migration program. You will design and drive the end-to-end testing strategy, lead SIT, UAT and non-functional testing, and mentor a small test team within a global delivery setup.

You will collaborate with architects, developers and senior stakeholders in an Agile/SAFe environment. The role offers hybrid work (up to 20% remote) in Zurich, start 01.10.2026 and end 01.03.2027.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience as a test manager on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, especially unit and functional testing.
• Proven track record delivering testing workstreams for migration projects (Mainframe to Linux preferred).
• Experience in defining and executing end-to-end test strategies (SIT, UAT, non-functional).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder alignment.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
• English required; German or Spanish is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute the overall testing strategy for a large transformation program.
• Lead all testing activities across the project lifecycle and coordinate multiple test phases.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and report to senior leadership.
• Lead and develop a small test team and foster continuous improvement.
• Provide QA oversight and drive process improvements for testing efficiency.
• Produce comprehensive test documentation and regular status updates.
