Try&Hire in Switzerland seeks an embedded software engineer to design, implement and maintain firmware for industrial inspection systems. You will collaborate with software, electronics and mechanical engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will evaluate processors, extend existing products, migrate to modern platforms, and develop for Zephyr and Debian Linux. The role is hybrid with a 80–100% workload and a pathway to a permanent position.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of professional embedded software development in an industrial R&D environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ and C.
• Experience with Git and modern software development processes.
• Solid understanding of electronics, including reading schematics and measuring signals.
• Knowledge of unit and system testing and the Zephyr embedded operating system.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.

Your tasks
