Job summary

Maison du Software, part of Planzer Group, seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own and optimize our Azure-based platform. You will automate multi-region setups with Terraform/Terragrunt and embed SRE practices across CI/CD pipelines to accelerate safe production releases.

In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will partner with product teams on cloud architecture decisions, maintain secure networking, and drive observability and incident management to ensure reliable services for

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in computer science and/or degree in computer science.
• At least 5 years of experience operating demanding production environments.
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft Azure (PaaS, networking) and IaC (Terragrunt, Terraform).
• Solid knowledge of C#/.NET.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets, and incident management.
• Independent and proactive problem-solver with agile mindset.
• Fluent German skills complete profile.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, provisioning, and maintenance of secure, multi-regional Azure PaaS environments using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Management and expansion of the Azure network topology in a zero-trust environment.
• Responsibility for and further development of standardised CI/CD workflows across the company.
• Embedding SRE principles in the platform infrastructure: definition of SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets for shared resources.
• Implementation of end-to-end observability, telemetry, and automated alerting.
• Active development and maintenance of the platform's Identity and Access Management solution.
• Support product teams with architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure and non-functional requirements.

Your mission

You ensure that our Azure platform runs smoothly. You automate multi-region setups with Infrastructure as Code, establish clear SRE standards, and make deployments a breeze through reliable CI/CD pipelines. You act as a sparring partner on equal footing for the development teams so that new features go into production quickly, safely, and without failures.
