Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning mechanical, electronic and software engineering, guiding projects from concept to delivery in a full product development lifecycle.

You will drive detailed plans, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure alignment across R&D, software and product management teams. Proficiency in Scrum/SAFe and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as project leader or project manager in a high-tech environment.
• Proven experience in software product development including embedded systems or firmware.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, both waterfall and agile (Scrum, SAFe).
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; German is an advantage but not required.

What you bring

• Higher degree in mechanical, electrical, software engineering or comparable field (MSc preferred)
• Minimum 5 years experience as project leader or project manager in a high-tech environment
• Proven experience in software product development including embedded systems or firmware
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, both waterfall and agile (Scrum, SAFe)
• Understanding of software practices such as backlog management, sprint planning and verification/validation
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; German is an advantage but not required
