Job summary

Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz (ZG) seeks a seasoned MSAT PPS Engineer with deep expertise in precision dispensing and sensor manufacturing. The role emphasizes on-the-floor investigations, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven problem solving to stabilize deposition and yield on complex platforms.

You will drive production trials, apply DOE, and partner with operators, engineers and QA to implement sustainable improvements in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Process, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Deep Precision Dispensing Expertise.
• Experience in a regulated production environment (GxP).
• Strong hands-on capability with low-viscosity fluids.
• Fluent English; German at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of WIP yield loss, downtime and dispensing deviations; design remediation plans.
• Observe production floor across shifts; upskill staff from an engineering perspective.
• Fine-tune, characterize and troubleshoot multi-platform automated dispensing equipment for low-viscosity fluids.
• Plan, run and evaluate production-line trials; apply DOE and root-cause methodologies.
• Analyze sensor production and QC data to track variability and verify corrective actions.
• Translate between vendors, operators, Process Engineering, QA and Regulatory to implement changes.
