Job summary

IonQ, located in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Cryptography Engineer to join the Quantum Platform - Network & Security team. The role centers on building post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration for HSM and network-appliance products, with hands-on development in C/C++/Rust and Python.

You will implement reference models and constant-time crypto functions, participate in verification tooling and CAVP/NIST validation, and collaborate with RTL and firmware engineers on algorithm

Qualifications

• Hands-on cryptography development experience preferred.
• Experience with constant-time implementations.
• Familiarity with cryptographic libraries and testing tooling.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain reference models for ML-KEM, ML-DSA and SLH-DSA/LMS in C/C++/Rust and Python.
• Develop test-vector tooling and verification infrastructure (NIST ACVP) for certification.
