IonQ, Inc. in Geneva, Switzerland, is seeking a Staff Cryptography Engineer to build post‑quantum cryptography hardware acceleration for HSM and network appliances. You will implement software models and test infrastructure, in C/C++/Rust and Python, and contribute to verification workflows.

You will work with senior cryptography engineers to ensure correctness, performance, and certification readiness, driving cryptographic primitives and algorithms in a fast‑growing quantum company.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Cryptography, Mathematics, CS or related field with 5+ years' crypto software experience.
• Strong C/C++/Rust skills and understanding of modern cryptographic primitives.
• Familiar with NIST test vectors and certification workflow is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Implement reference models, optimised software and test‑vector infrastructure for ML‑KEM, ML‑DSA and SLH‑DSA/LMS.
• Support hardware and firmware teams with algorithm expertise, debugging and certification‑oriented tooling.
