Job summary

Adnovum is seeking an experienced network professional to design, build, and operate modern network and security solutions based on Cisco technologies in Switzerland. You will own data center and access networks, contribute to security product design (WSA, ISE), and lead client projects end-to-end.

You will be hands-on, automate configurations, maintain documentation, and participate in on-call support. Five‑day on‑site presence at the office or client site is required.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational education in information technology (Informatiker EFZ).
• Several years of professional experience in network engineering.
• Cisco CCNP certification is required.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, SDN, SDA environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of network security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Building and operating data center and access network infrastructures (SDN, SDA, Catalyst, Nexus, and Wi‑Fi).
• Contributing to the design and operation of Cisco security products, including Cisco WSA and Cisco ISE.
• Designing, implementing, and configuring network and security solutions as part of client projects.
• Taking ownership of products and technologies as a subject matter expert and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Automating and standardizing configurations to improve efficiency and security.
• Creating and maintaining documentation covering installation, operation, migration, and backup procedures.
• Providing operational support and participating in the on‑call service to ensure stable and reliable operations.

Are you an experienced network professional who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical ownership? In this role, you will design, build, and operate modern network and security solutions based on Cisco technologies. From data center and access networks to automation and security, you will work on a broad range of technical challenges, contribute to exciting projects, and take ownership of selected technologies as a subject matter expert. You will also share your expertise with the team and help us continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and security of our network environments.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:
