Job summary

AurigaVision AG in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Manager Strategic Manufacturing Solutions (Downstream Processing - Biologics) to drive development, optimization and industrialization of biologics manufacturing processes in GMP environments.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, lead technology transfer, ensure manufacturing readiness, and support audits and international site programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (manufacturing, process development, technology transfer, or validation).
• Strong expertise in biologics manufacturing processes, especially downstream processing (DSP).
• Solid GMP knowledge and experience in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence stakeholders in matrix organizations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel to Germany (about 20%).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, optimize, and enhance manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Lead technology transfer and scale-up activities into GMP manufacturing environments.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness through effective process implementation and operational support.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during production campaigns and process-related challenges.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve process performance, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and projects.
• Support customer engagements, technical presentations, audits, inspections, and problem-solving activities.
