Job summary

more-jobs is seeking an experienced Head of Downstream Processing to lead DSP manufacturing operations in Valais, Switzerland. This is a 6-month, on-site assignment reporting to the Manufacturing Leadership Team and driving performance, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement across the DSP facility.

You will coach a diverse team of engineers and specialists, manage KPIs, capacity planning, and regulatory readiness, and act as deputy head when required, ensuring delivery against manufacturing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biotechnology or related field.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Minimum 10 years in biopharma manufacturing.
• Experience with GMP regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary DSP manufacturing team.
• Ensure safe, compliant DSP operations delivering KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Support capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Develop training for operational readiness.
• Collaborate with MSAT, QA, and Supply Chain.
• Represent manufacturing during audits and inspections.
• Oversee change controls and GMP documentation.
• Act as Deputy Head of Operations when needed.
