Job summary

AurigaVision AG in Basel, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Manager Strategic Manufacturing Solutions (Downstream Processing - Biologics) to drive development, optimization and industrialization of biologics manufacturing processes in GMP environments.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, lead technology transfer, ensure manufacturing readiness, and support audits and international site programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry (manufacturing, process development, technology transfer, or validation).
• Strong expertise in biologics manufacturing processes, especially downstream processing (DSP).
• Solid GMP knowledge and experience in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence stakeholders in matrix organizations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel to Germany (about 20%).

In this key role, you will drive the development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes for biologics, supporting activities from process development through GMP manufacturing.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and international production sites to ensure operational excellence and manufacturing readiness.

Your profile

• Strong technical expertise in biologics manufacturing processes, preferably within Downstream Processing (DSP)
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements and experience working in a highly regulated environment
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence stakeholders within matrix organizations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and sites
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel to Germany (20% of the time) is required
