Qualifications

• Excellent English, strong written and spoken; independence, creativity and collaboration in a small team.

For over 15 years, we've worked with discerning international travelers and leading luxury travel advisors to create exceptional private journeys combining deep local knowledge, outstanding hospitality, authentic experiences and meticulous attention to detail. As our business grows, we're looking for an experienced Senior Luxury Travel Designer to join our small, collaborative team.

The role

This is a hands-on travel design and sales position for someone with substantial experience creating and selling bespoke luxury journeys.

You'll take ownership of sophisticated travel enquiries from initial brief through itinerary design, proposal development, costing, sales and confirmation. Working closely with our founders and planning and operations team, you'll bring creativity, commercial judgment and genuine destination expertise to every journey.

We're looking for someone who can think independently, anticipate client needs and create exceptional experiences — not simply assemble hotels and activities into an itinerary.

What you'll be doing

• Designing sophisticated, tailor-made journeys throughout Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria.
• Managing enquiries from luxury travel advisors and private clients, understanding their interests, expectations and budgets.
• Creating compelling itineraries with intelligent routing, thoughtful pacing, exceptional accommodation and distinctive experiences.
• Preparing accurate costings, commercially sound proposals and quotations, and managing enquiries through to confirmation.
• Developing trusted relationships with clients, advisors, hotels, guides and local suppliers.
• Collaborating with our bookings and operations team to ensure seamless delivery.
• Contributing product knowledge, supplier discoveries and creative ideas while supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards.

Who we're looking for

Direct, professional experience designing and selling bespoke luxury leisure travel is essential.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• At least three years of relevant experience in bespoke luxury travel, including substantial hands-on itinerary design and sales.
• A proven ability to personally design, cost and sell complex, multi-day private journeys.
• Experience with discerning international clients, ideally including the North American luxury travel market.
• Strong knowledge of Switzerland and the Alps, or comparable experience in European luxury destination travel.
• Excellent logistical judgment, commercial awareness, attention to detail and written and spoken English.
• Independence, creativity and a collaborative approach suited to a small, entrepreneurial team.

German, French or Italian language skills and established Swiss/Alpine supplier relationships would be advantages.

Location and working arrangements

While some remote-working flexibility is available, this is primarily an office-based position. Candidates should already live within reasonable commuting distance or be genuinely prepared to relocate to the region and be eligible to work in Switzerland.
