UBQ.io is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to oversee and drive our commercial contracting strategy, internal governance, privacy compliance, and legal risk management. In this role, you will serve as the company’s Data Protection Officer while managing a diverse portfolio of legal matters across Swiss domestic law and international frameworks.

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, design governance frameworks, and lead DPIAs and data-privacy initiatives.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• 5+ years in commercial contract negotiation or legal management.
• Expertise in Swiss FADP/DSG and EU GDPR.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss CO and employment law.
• Proven ability to manage high-impact priorities.
• Excellent legal drafting with precise English.
• Bar admission or CIPM/CIPP/E is a plus.

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements under Swiss law and international frameworks.
• Design and update internal regulations, codes of conduct, and SOPs for governance and compliance.
• Oversee privacy compliance under FADP/DSG and EU GDPR; manage DPIAs and data subject requests as DPO.
• Draft and review employment contracts and HR policies per Swiss law; coordinate cross-border matters.
• Serve as escalation point for regulatory issues and contract clauses; mentor team members.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across business lines.
• Optimize legal workflows and standardize templates.
