Job summary

Aerospace manufacturing in Nidwalden, Switzerland, seeks an experienced leader to head composite structures development and certification activities for new aircraft programs, coordinating design, analysis and cross-functional teams.

In this role you will oversee technical development of composite structures, coordinate design, analysis and evaluation, liaise with design, manufacturing and certification stakeholders, and report progress on planning, budget and risks.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in composite structures development and certification.
• Fluency in English and German (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight of composite structures development for certification and modification campaigns
• Coordinate and lead design, analysis and evaluation of assigned projects
• Liaise with stakeholders across design, manufacturing and certification for composite structures
• Report project progress including planning, budget status and risk assessments
• Monitor technology advances and lead implementation studies for improvements
• Manage and coordinate internal and external suppliers
