Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a senior engineer to lead composite structures development and certification activities for new aircraft programs. You will coordinate design, analysis, and cross-functional teams across stakeholders in design, manufacturing and certification, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires hands-on leadership across development, testing, manufacturing and certification, with strong CS/FAR-23/25 knowledge and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years in composite structures development and certification.
• Strong analytical capabilities in design and structural analysis.
• Hands-on leadership across development, testing, manufacturing, certification.
• Fluency in English and German (B2+).

Job description

• Technical oversight of composite structures development for certification and modification campaigns
• Coordinate and lead design, analysis and evaluation of assigned projects
• Liaise with stakeholders across design, manufacturing and certification for composite structures
• Report project progress including planning, budget status and risk assessments
• Monitor technology advances and lead implementation studies for improvements
• Manage and coordinate internal and external suppliers

What you bring

• Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in composite structures development and certification
• Strong analytical capabilities in design and structural analysis
• Hands-on leadership experience in development, testing, manufacturing and certification
• Knowledge of CS/FAR-23 and/or CS/FAR-25 certification requirements
• Fluency in English and German (minimum B2 level)
