Job summary

Kanadevia Inova AG in Zürich seeks an experienced Senior IT Operations Coordinator to join a global innovation-led team. You will install, maintain, and optimize workstation systems, servers, and network components while implementing configurations and troubleshooting incidents.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or apprenticeship and 4+ years in a senior IT role, with strong ITIL knowledge and vendor coordination. English fluency and German knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years in a senior IT role in a mid- to large-sized company (150+ users).
• Experience managing third-party services.
• Strong operational skills in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain workstation systems, servers, and network components.
• Implement configuration specifications for systems and user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
• Coordinate vendor and consultant activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and track hardware, software, and network availability and inventory.
• Develop and maintain operations manuals, instructions, and checklists.
• Assist users with procurement projects and solution implementations.
• Create simple scripts and applications for user needs on workstations and mobile devices.
• Act as a senior operational coordinator, supporting team priorities and providing guidance in the manager’s absence.
