Zusammenfassung

Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software for our humanoid robot platforms, from MCU firmware to embedded Linux. You will collaborate with hardware and algorithm teams, drive architectures, and contribute to CI/CD, QA, and HiL testing in a hybrid work environment in Zürich, Switzerland.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded C++, with experience on STM32 or similar, and knowledge of EtherCAT/CAN, camera

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional embedded software experience.
• Proficient in modern C++ in production environments.
• Experience with driver development on embedded Linux and MCUs.
• Familiar with EtherCAT and CAN/CANopen.
• Experience with SPI/UART/I2C interfaces.
• Experience with camera modules and image pipelines on embedded Linux.
• Strong hardware debugging skills with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Ability to design software and system architectures for distributed embedded systems.
• Willingness to participate in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Good English; basic German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for actuators and sensors, from MCU firmware to embedded Linux.
• Define and document architectures and interfaces for internal use by engineers.
• Involve in system integration and testing on real hardware with robotics algorithms and electrical engineers.
• Work in an R&D startup-like division within a global company to solve complex robotics problems.
