Hexagon Robotics in Zürich is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the electronics team behind our humanoid robot platform. You will design hardware yourself while growing engineers, aligning objectives with company goals in a cross-functional setting.

You will own the electronics architecture for power, battery, sensors and compute carrier-boards, driving delivery from concept to production with a strong emphasis on quality, reliability and scalable processes.

Qualifikationen

• Proven line management experience with coaching and career development.
• Hands-on electronics background with production experience using Altium.
• Hardware-heavy, multi-disciplinary background with regulatory awareness.
• Ability to lead via influence with clear communication.
• Strong hardware quality practices including DFM/DFT and EMC.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow a team of electronics engineers for the robot platform.
• Contribute to schematic capture and layout in Altium; lab bring-up.
• Define technical direction with Tech Lead and solidify electronics architecture.
• Translate product needs into objectives, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Handle hiring, onboarding, 1:1s, feedback and career development.
• Ensure high quality and reliability through reviews and test coverage.
• Resolve cross-system issues spanning electronics, firmware, mechanics.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, QA, product, systems, and manufacturing.
• Improve processes, ECAD tooling, lab instrumentation, and hardware debt management.
