Job summary

Sandoz is the global leader in biosimilar and generic medicines. We seek a Senior Director, Business Development & Alliance Management to shape, negotiate, and oversee strategic partnerships across the Bio Platform.

You will lead end-to-end deal processes, structure collaborations, and align initiatives with corporate objectives. You will partner with R&D, Legal, IP, Finance and Operations to ensure integrated planning, governance, and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in business development, licensing, strategic partnerships, or alliance management within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex, high-value strategic partnerships.
• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business (MBA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and structure strategic partnerships, collaborations, and licensing opportunities for the Bio Platform.
• Lead end-to-end deal processes, from initial engagement through negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
• Oversee the governance and operational effectiveness of ongoing alliances, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and issue resolution.
• Lead negotiations and operational alignment for product lifecycle initiatives within partnered programs.
