Job summary

Abbott in Basel, Switzerland is seeking a Director, Global Alliances—Biosimilars & Biologics to lead strategic management of global alliances and licensing partnerships. Based at the EPD HQ in Basel, you will drive governance, negotiations, and cross-functional execution to grow the biosimilars and biologics portfolio across markets.

The role requires 10+ years in BD/Commercial roles, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in business development or related commercial function.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing/Sales, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic management of global biosimilars and biologics alliances with licensing partners; interface for governance and execution of agreements.
• Drive alliance management, licensing and business development to grow the biosimilics portfolio.
• Negotiate and execute licensing agreements; identify unmet needs and partnerships to expand the portfolio.
