Job summary
Catalyx Switzerland is seeking a Sr. Lab Automation Digital Laboratory Business Analyst / SME to lead digitalisation, automation and integration across pharmaceutical lab operations.
You’ll connect lab instruments, automation platforms and digital systems (LIMS, ELN, SDMS) to improve data flow and reduce manual hand-offs. This on-site role partners with scientists, IT, QA and vendor teams, requiring strong domain expertise, stakeholder management and project leadership to translate needs into
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years in pharma/regulated labs with automation and digital transformation.
- Experience with lab systems and instrument integration (LIMS/ELN/SDMS).
- Knowledge of GxP, CSV/CSA, 21 CFR Part 11.
Responsibilities
- Define digital lab transformation requirements and architecture.
- Review design architecture and specifications.
- Act as primary customer interface for vendor-partners.
- Map workflows and data flows; identify gaps and opportunities.
- Drive implementation of digital and automation initiatives.
- Coordinate FAT/SAT planning and validation documentation.
- Ensure scalable solutions aligned with customer environment.
