Qualifikationen

• 6–10 years of backend engineering experience with Go and strong SQL skills.
• Experience building or rebuilding payments, billing, and ledger systems end-to-end.
• Understanding of financial systems around ledgers, revenue recognition, and taxes.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, international billing is highly valuable.
• Knowledge of postgreSQL based ledger and event-sourced design is a plus.
• Experience with auditability, concurrency, and financial reconciliation in scalable systems.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement a canonical billing and entitlement ledger using an append-only architecture and PostgreSQL.
• Own the complete subscription lifecycle across multiple payment gateways.
• Build gateway ingestion pipelines with idempotent webhook processing and daily reconciliation.
• Handle refunds, chargebacks, disputes, credits, and settlements with accuracy.
• Create data pipelines for accounting close, revenue recognition, and tax reporting.
• Own the customer-facing billing experience and ensure alignment with the ledger.
• Lead migration from legacy models with data backfills and regional cutovers.
• Establish practices prioritizing financial correctness, observability, and safe operation.
