You’ll own the newly established Payments squad responsible for a critical billing and payments service, influencing reliability, scalability, accuracy and cost efficiency. You’ll write technical specifications, review architecture and PRs, and contribute hands-on to design and implementation while coaching engineers and shaping an evolving financial system for high

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience leading a tech team delivering payments or billing functionality.
• Experience designing scalable payments architectures and services.
• Strong hands-on coding and architecture evaluation skills.

Aufgaben

• Own the overall delivery outcomes of the Payments squad and ensure high engineering standards.
• Set technical and architectural direction for the payments domain to scale for high volume.
• Write technical specs, review PRs and architecture decisions, and contribute to implementation.
• Diagnose throughput and deliverability issues and implement structural improvements.
• Coach junior engineers and raise engineering quality and delivery speed across the squad.
• Partner with management on hiring decisions and raise capability gaps.
