You will own backend systems end to end, shape architecture, and drive reliability while collaborating with Product and Engineering leaders across time zones.

This role emphasizes building scalable backend services, integrating with payment providers, and mentoring peers in a growing, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning backend systems end to end from architecture to deployment and maintenance.
• Strong ability to design scalable backend architectures and make sound technical decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and elevating engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain backend systems for protection workflows.
• Develop and integrate payment dispute management and fraud prevention capabilities.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
• Lead and mentor teammates, establishing engineering standards and best practices.
