TWINT, based in Zurich and with a Bern presence, seeks a software engineer focused on Android to join a multicultural development team. You own features from concept to production, design scalable Android architectures, and drive high-quality API integration with Swagger/OpenAPI.

The role emphasizes testing, CI/CD improvements, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and mentoring. The position offers flexible working hours and a home-work option, with a shared commitment to advancing the TWINT

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science with a focus on software engineering or comparable education.
• Multi-year practical experience in software engineering and mobile app development.
• Strong Android development experience with ownership of challenging problems.
• Proven UI test automation experience.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and API clients.
• Strong Gradle and Android build system knowledge.
• Good English communication in writing and speaking.

Your Profile:

• You have a degree in computer science (Bachelor or Master) with a focus on software engineering or a comparable education

• You have profound, multi-year practical and project experience in software engineering and Mobile App development in a business and technically complex environment

• You have strong hands-on experience with modern Android development and are comfortable taking ownership of technically challenging problems

• You have profound experience in UI test automation

• You have experience working with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and generated or contract-based API clients

• You have a strong understanding of Gradle and Android build systems, dependency management, and modularization

• You have a strong interest in the Android ecosystem and actively keep up with current trends, architecture approaches, tooling, and platform changes

• You raise the technical level of the people around you without relying on formal authority

• You are comfortable challenging assumptions and making well-reasoned technical trade-offs

• You describe yourself as an independent and reliable team player

• You enjoy learning and always adapting to new challenges

• You can easily express yourself in English (orally and in writing)
