We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL processes, Oracle databases, and data warehouse architecture methodologies. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar tools
Apply Kimball methodology for dimensional modeling and star schema design.
Build scalable, user-friendly data marts to support reporting and analytics
Utilize the data warehouse as source for flexible reporting, auditability, and reliable historical analysis across business domains.Work extensively with Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code
Develop stored procedures, functions, and scripts to support data integration and reporting needs
Design and implement semantic layers (subject areas, dimensions, hierarchies, measures) in BI platforms, optimized for self-service analytics
Define metadata repositories and manage calculation logic, KPIs, and business rules
Ensure consistency and reusability of BI objects across dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical BI artifacts
Ensure scalability, performance, and cost efficiency of cloud-based analytics workloads
Monitor and fine-tune cloud analytics environments for high availability and user satisfaction
Degree in computer science, Information Technology, orrelatedfield.
3-5 years in a similar role. Payment industry experience is an advantage
Certification in Oracledata infrastructuretechnologiesan advantage
Proven experience with ETL tools (Oracle Data Integrator or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, with hands-on experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
Practical experience with Kimball methodology for dimensional modeling
Hands-on experience in BI modeling (semantic layers, metadata, KPIs, query optimization)
Data Vault methodology (enterprise data warehouse modeling and usage)
Cloud analytics expertise (configuring and optimizing OCI & Azure analytics instances)
Experience with analytics administration (installation, configuration, security, performance)
Ability to design scalable, maintainable data solutions
Fluent English, German an advantage
Experience with other BI tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau)
Oracle Analytics Cloud administration (configuration, security, performance)
Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in large-scale data environments
Familiarity with hybrid cloud and advanced cloud-native analytics solution
