TWINT, based in Zurich and with a Bern presence, seeks a software engineer focused on Android to join a multicultural development team. You own features from concept to production, design scalable Android architectures, and drive high-quality API integration with Swagger/OpenAPI.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science with a focus on software engineering or comparable education.
• Multi-year practical experience in software engineering and mobile app development.
• Strong Android development experience with ownership of challenging problems.
• Proven UI test automation experience.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and API clients.
• Strong Gradle and Android build system knowledge.
• Good English communication in writing and speaking.

Aufgaben

• Be part of an international development team and jointly responsible for the further development of our platform.
• Take technical ownership from conception through implementation, testing, release, and operation in production.
• Design pragmatic, scalable, and maintainable Android solutions and contribute to architectural decisions across the Android platform.
• You will actively participate in technical discussions and balance product needs with quality, security and reliability.
• You enable teammates through mentoring, knowledge sharing, pair programming and constructive feedback.
• You perform thoughtful code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, testing, security and maintainability.
• You support us in analyzing complex problems in the context of L3 support and in handling incidents.
• You continuously improve engineering practices, development processes, automation, CI/CD pipelines and developer experience.
• You help evolve our testing strategy with a strong focus on reliable automated UI and integration testing.
• You are constantly updating and evolving the platform to keep it current.
