Comfone in Bern is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our on-site development team. You will own frontend development for Data Management Services, delivering scalable, well-tested UI components and features.

We value strong React and TypeScript skills, familiarity with modern tooling, and a collaborative, international Scrum mindset. English proficiency is required; other languages are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Swiss qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong React knowledge: components, hooks, state management, reusable UI.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript language features.
• Experience with React tooling and package managers (pnpm, Yarn, Vite).
• Familiar with RESTful services and Git version control.
• Nice to have Ant Design, AG Grid, RTK/RTK Query experience.

• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our dedicated development team on Site in Bern.

Your Experience

• Develop and maintain frontend applications for Data Management Services (Big Data) products.
• Take ownership of the full application development lifecycle, including user requirements, specifications, design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance.
• Build high-quality, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a friendly, open, and agile Scrum environment.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience developing modern frontend web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of React, including component-based architecture, hooks, state management, and reusable UI components.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and modern JavaScript/TypeScript language features.
• Experience with modern frontend development tools and package managers, such as pnpm, Yarn, Vite, and Vite+.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services.
• Working experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience with Ant Design, AG Grid, Redux Toolkit (RTK), and RTK Query is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in an international team environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are an asset.

The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, as well as holders of a valid Swiss work permit.
