fortil is expanding its Aeronautics & Defense activities in Switzerland. As Senior Project/Program Manager, you will oversee strategic engineering programs involving complex electronic products within highly regulated environments.

You will coordinate stages of the program lifecycle with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers, ensuring milestones, budgets and quality objectives while providing structured reporting to senior management.

Qualifikationen

• More than 10 years of experience in the aeronautics, defense or other highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to aerospace, defense or another safety-critical industry.
• Strong knowledge of supplier coordination and industrial execution.
• Experience overseeing the development of electronic equipment, embedded technologies or integrated systems.
• Solid understanding of structured product development methodologies and lifecycle management.
• Confidence interacting with executive stakeholders, engineering teams and customers.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Aufgaben

• Lead the delivery of complex engineering programs involving international stakeholders.
• Build and maintain project roadmaps, ensuring milestones, budgets and quality objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Act as the primary interface between technical teams, suppliers and customers.
• Monitor supplier performance and support manufacturing readiness activities.
• Drive decision-making through governance, performance indicators and risk assessments.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.
• Anticipate project challenges and implement corrective actions to protect delivery.
• Promote collaboration across multicultural teams and encourage continuous improvement.
• Provide clear visibility to senior management through structured reporting and executive presentations.
