Job summary

THREE Insurance seeks an Associate Actuary to independently lead complex actuarial analyses, influence business decisions, and contribute to team and process development from analysis through implementation.

You will lead rate indications, reserving analyses, profitability studies across BOP, Umbrella, WC, and Commercial Auto, while mentoring junior analysts and supporting rate filings with regulators.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ACAS designation with FCAS in progress.
• 5+ years pricing/reserving experience in Property & Casualty.
• Proficient in SQL, R, Python, VBA or similar data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead rate indications, reserving analyses, profitability studies and other actuarial projects across BOP, Umbrella, Workers' Compensation, and Commercial Auto, owning work from analysis through implementation.
• Provide actuarial support across diverse product set including liquor liability and catastrophe-exposed perils (flood, earthquake, hurricane, severe convective storm).
• Support development and filing of rate changes with regulatory bodies.
• Apply business and actuarial expertise to develop effective, well-informed solutions.
• Identify and implement improved methods and processes to enhance team effectiveness.
• Present analyses and recommendations clearly, influencing decisions across all levels.
• Maintain documentation that enables others to understand and reproduce the work.
• Mentor and support the development of junior analysts.
