Job summary

JCW Group is seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst in Zurich to analyze underwriting performance, challenge underwriting teams, and report to senior management. Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance experience, with reinsurance essential.
• Experience in actuarial, analytics or portfolio teams.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge and influence underwriters.
• Proficiency in analytical tools. Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analysis and documentation for annual and class portfolio reviews.
• Challenge underwriting teams on strategy, performance and pricing adequacy.
• Monitor key performance indicators and track results against business plans.
• Work with Underwriting, Pricing, Risk and Reserving teams to identify areas of concern and opportunity.
• Conduct market research to benchmark the portfolio.
• Prepare reports for executive committee meetings.
