Lightium AG seeks an experienced metrology and quality control specialist for its semiconductor cleanroom. You will characterize wafers and chips with SEM, profilometry, optical and confocal microscopes, and manage die sorting and packaging with full traceability.

You will work with process, design and test engineers, fab partners and suppliers to ensure inspection, data integrity and timely release of products as the company scales.

Formación

• 5+ years in metrology and quality control in semiconductor, photonics, MEMS or related microfabrication environment.
• Hands-on operation of SEM, profilometry, optical/confocal microscopy, ellipsometry and pick‑and‑place machines.
• Experience in cleanrooms ISO 5/ISO 6 and gray-rooms; calibration and maintenance of tools.
• Familiarity with CoCs or inspection reports is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform metrology for wafers and chips using SEM, profilometer and optical tools; set up measurement recipes and keep tools calibrated.
• Sort dies and pack with tape, GelPak, JEDEC trays using pick-and-place equipment.
• Record, analyze and report results; flag deviations and support root-cause investigations.
• Inspect incoming wafers/chips/materials and complete acceptance documentation with stakeholders.
• Conduct outgoing QC, prepare CoCs and ensure packaging meets quality standards.
• Maintain traceability across ERP/PLM data and labeling; support MES improvements.
• Contribute to writing and updating work instructions and procedures.
