Coherent in Zürich is seeking a Semiconductor Technician to support production, testing, maintenance and optimization of semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will collaborate with engineers, operators and quality teams to ensure safe, stable and high‑quality production and contribute to semiconductor technology development.

The role involves operating, calibrating, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, supporting wafer processing, data analysis and continuous improvement

Qualificações

• Technical education in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement equipment.
• Good English; German skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Support wafer processing, assembly, testing, and inspection in a cleanroom.
• Analyze equipment and process data to identify deviations and drive improvements.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Support process development and equipment qualification.
• Maintain production, maintenance, quality, and process records.
• Adhere to cleanroom procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
