Lightium AG seeks a Metrology & Quality Control Technician to own measurement, inspection and sorting of wafers and chips in our semiconductor cleanroom. You will characterize wafers and devices with SEM, profilometry and optical microscopes, run inspections, and document products with full traceability.

You will work with process, design and test engineers and fab partners, ensuring precision and reliability as we scale production.

Competenze

• 5+ years hands-on metrology and QC in semiconductor/photonic environments.
• Technical education such as an EFZ apprenticeship, higher diploma or FH degree.
• Experience with SEM, profilometry, optical/confocal microscopy and ellipsometry.
• Dexterity with wafer and chip handling and cleanroom operations.

Mansioni

• Metrology: perform wafer- and chip-level measurements with SEM, profilometer and microscopes.
• Sorting & Packaging: sort dies, operate pick-and-place, package to industry standards.
• Data & Reporting: record, analyze and track results with traceability and flag deviations.
• Incoming/Outgoing Quality Control: inspect wafers/chips and manage CoC documentation.
• Traceability: ensure labeling and ERP/PLM data integrity across batches.
• Procedures & Improvement: contribute to work instructions and MES enhancements.
