Zusammenfassung

Climeworks Solutions is seeking a Science Manager to ensure our NBS offerings meet high-quality CO2 removal standards across ARR, IFM, and Mangroves. You will refine assessment criteria, engage suppliers, and lead due diligence for partner projects.

You will shape pathway strategies, map the project landscape, and support contracting and partnerships with stakeholders in the carbon market.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., physical, natural, or environmental sciences, ecology, forestry, geography, earth systems or climate science).
• Experience in nature-based solutions, project assessment, ratings, methodology development, MRV, biodiversity monitoring, or related fields.

Aufgaben

• Quality assessment framework development: tailor frameworks to nature-based pathways using latest methodologies.
• Supplier assessment & monitoring: engage suppliers, perform ratings, benchmark projects, monitor quality changes.
• Project due diligence: conduct deep scientific and commercial due diligence on projects, including additionality and carbon accounting.
