AFV Beltrame Group in Gerlafingen seeks an SAP and IT Application Specialist to lead first-level SAP support and drive documentation, governance, and the Swiss roll‑out of the SAP template. You will coordinate with HQ, IT teams and vendors while handling cross‑functional SAP interfaces with MES, logistics, and treasury systems.

The role requires strong coordination, technical curiosity, and the ability to work autonomously in a complex SAP environment with multiple interfaces.

Qualifikationen

• Experience providing SAP ECC functional/application support (MM/SD/PP/FI-CO exposure a plus).
• Familiarity with SAP GTS and/or SAP VIM; willingness to develop expertise.
• Understanding of SAP ticketing and incident management processes.
• Knowledge of interfaces between SAP and satellite systems (MES, logistics, treasury, reporting).
• Strong coordination and communication with local teams, HQ and vendors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tickets and manage ambiguity.
• Structured approach to documentation and process mapping.
• Basic understanding of procurement/administrative processes is a plus.
• Exposure to SAP rollout/template implementation projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of Swiss legal/fiscal requirements relevant to SAP processes is an advantage.

AFV Beltrame Group is growing! For our Gerlafingen plant, we are currently looking for a:

SAP and IT Application Specialist

We are looking for an SAP and IT Application Specialist to act as the primary point of contact for first-level SAP support at the site, while also playing a key role in process documentation, governance, and the upcoming Swiss roll‑out of the group's new SAP template. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role requiring strong coordination skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to work autonomously in a complex, long‑standing SAP environment with multiple interfaces to satellite systems.

Requirements:

• Experience providing SAP ECC functional/application support (multiple modules; MM/SD/PP/FI-CO exposure is a plus).
• Familiarity with SAP GTS and/or SAP VIM is a strong plus; willingness to develop expertise in these areas is required.
• Understanding of SAP ticketing and incident management processes, ideally with prior AMS interaction experience.
• Understanding of interfaces between SAP and satellite systems (MES, shipping/logistics applications, scrap management, treasury, reporting) is a plus
• Strong coordination and communication skills, comfortable working with local teams, HQ resources, and external vendors simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tickets, and manage ambiguity in a complex and heterogenous IT environment
• Structured, methodical approach to documentation and process mapping.
• Basic understanding of procurement/administrative processes (purchase orders, goods receipt) is a plus.
• Prior exposure to SAP roll‑out or template implementation projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of Swiss legal/fiscal requirements relevant to SAP processes is an advantage (or willingness to acquire it).
• German: required (fluent/native level) — main language for local team, suppliers, and day-to-day site operations.
• English: good working proficiency required — used for coordination with the HQ SAP team and international project work (e.g., Swiss roll‑out).
• Italian: a plus, not mandatory.
