Zusammenfassung

Sword Services seeks a Requirements and Test Automation Engineer to join a safety-critical software team. You will handle requirements engineering, documentation, system testing, and test automation within an Agile framework.

The successful candidate has 5+ years in safety-critical environments, strong Python automation experience, and familiarity with Java/JUnit/Gherkin. Proficiency in English (and French) and knowledge of real-time/aviation standards are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in a safety-critical environment.
• Experience in requirements engineering, documentation, system testing and test case development.
• Ability to translate end-user processes into precise requirements and test scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a rigorous, detail-oriented approach.
• Automation experience with Python; knowledge of Java/JUnit/Gherkin is a plus.
• Autonomy, adaptability, organization and prioritisation in a team under pressure.
• Familiarity with safety-critical/real-time domains and standards (ESARR6/EC482, ED153, IEC 61508, ISO 12207).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Analyse business and end-user needs and translate them into clear functional and system requirements.
• Review regulations, standards, and safety constraints to ensure compliance of software deliverables.
• Develop, review, maintain, and trace system requirements across product architecture.
• Design and maintain test cases to ensure coverage of system and component requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Python; exposure to Java, JUnit, and Gherkin.
• Execute manual and automated tests; document outcomes and maintain test records in test management systems.
• Investigate defects, document issues in JIRA, and contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Participate in formal system validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing with end users and multidisciplinary teams.
