Sword Group is seeking a Requirement and Test Automation Engineer to strengthen a team working on a complex, safety-critical software environment. The role combines requirements engineering, documentation, system testing, and test automation within an Agile development framework.

Responsibilities include analysing needs, ensuring compliance with ESARR6/EC482, ED153, IEC 61508, or ISO 12207, and developing automated tests using Python and Java tools.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a safety-critical environment or mission-critical software systems.
• Solid background in software requirements engineering, technical documentation, system testing, and test case development.
• Ability to translate end-user needs into precise requirements and effective test scenarios.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach.

Aufgaben

• Analyse business and end-user needs and translate them into structured functional and system requirements.
• Review regulations, quality standards, and safety constraints to ensure compliance of software deliverables.
• Develop, review, maintain, and trace system requirements across product architecture.
• Design and maintain test cases ensuring coverage of system and component requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions, primarily using Python, with exposure to Java, JUnit, and Gherkin.
• Execute manual and automated tests, document outcomes, and maintain test records in test management systems.
• Investigate defects, document issues in JIRA, and contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution activities.
• Participate in formal system validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing with end users and multidisciplinary teams.
